Equans partnered with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council after they successfully won the government Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) which secured a £1.5 million fund to tackle carbon emissions and to help residents with a warm, energy efficient home.
Equans appointed Grove to install Wetherby Building System’s Brick Effect Render system with a 150mm stone wool insulation board.
This system was chosen because it is a cost-effective and efficient way to reduce carbon emissions, while also improving the thermal performance of the homes. The Brick Effect Render system also provided an attractive and durable finish, which improved the overall appearance of the properties.
