Equans was awarded the Social Housing Decarbonisation Funding contract by Sheffield Council following a successful bid.
Installing an External Wall Insulation System to over 100 properties was one of the ways the fund was used to improve energy efficiency.
Grove was appointed by Equans to complete the installation of Wetherby Building Systems 110mm mineral wool, complete with a brick slip and silicone render finish.
The outcome was to lower energy bills for the residents, reduce CO2 emissions, increase thermal comfort, and to create a new aesthetic appeal to the area and it’s surroundings.
