At Grove, we believe that every home should be a sanctuary, tailored to meet the unique needs of its occupants. Recently, we had the privilege of working with a private client who trusted us to create a safer and more accessible wet room for their family members with mobility challenges.
We began by installing new insulation, plaster and timber to the walls, reinforcing the structure to support the upcoming modifications. Grove then proceeded by knocking out the section of the wall to install a new door, widening access to the wet room.
Our team fitted new wall tiles, hand wash basin, a shower system and a mirror cabinet, all chosen to optimize functionality while maintaining a stylish aesthetic.
Safety was paramount in this project. We installed hand grab rails throughout the space along with a anti-slip vinyl flooring to provide stability and support for the occupants, minimizing the risk of slips and falls.
Our electrical team installed an up-to-date lighting and an extractor fan to improve ventilation and to prevent moisture build-up.
